Q2: Besides color change wraps, are there other types of functional films?
Yes.
In addition to decorative color changes, we also offer professional TPU repair and protective film (scratch-resistant and anti-fouling) and glass decorative film, which can be widely applied to various surfaces such as home furniture and commercial glass doors and windows.
▎Film Installation (with materials and labor)
Q1: How is the price of decorative color change film calculated?
Quotation Standard: Film application quotes include the cost of film material and technical installation, calculated in "cai" (a unit of area) (all include waste calculation).
Calculation Method: Total Price = Actual installation area size (including waste rounding up) × Unit price of film material. (Quotation is affected by factors such as the difficulty of installation, film brand, and available scheduling).
Evaluation Process: Provide photos of the object and basic dimensions to our online LINE customer service for an initial online evaluation. Subsequently, a technician can be arranged for precise on-site measurement. A formal quotation will be provided approximately 1 to 2 business days after measurement.
Q2: What are your service scope and items?
Services: Including commercial space color change wraps, TPU transparent protective film (furniture protection), glass decorative film, elevator color change, cabinet and various door panel renovations, etc.
Service Area: 747 is the largest wrapping team in Southern Taiwan, with a service area mainly covering Kaohsiung, Pingtung, and Tainan, all offering on-site measurement services.
Q3: What are the precautions before construction? Do I need to pay for transportation?
Substrate Treatment: Depending on the object's substrate, surface treatment may be performed before film application. If the substrate is uneven, it must be spackled and leveled until completely smooth. Sanding may be used if necessary.
Transportation Fee Calculation: No transportation fee is charged within 20 kilometers of our company. For distances exceeding 20 kilometers, a fee of NT$30 per kilometer will be charged, calculated based on the mileage shown on Google Maps.
Environmental Requirements: During the construction process, other work is strictly prohibited from being carried out simultaneously, and personnel movement is not allowed, to ensure no dust interference and to maintain construction quality.
Q4: What are the acceptance standards or maintenance methods after the work is completed?
Acceptance Criteria: According to the IWFA (International Window Film Association) standards, the film application will be inspected from a distance of 182.88 cm (6 feet). If there are no bubbles, peeling, or foreign objects, the installation will be considered complete and delivered.
Maintenance Reminder: The film can be used normally immediately after installation. However, the adhesive layer and the substrate require approximately 30 days to fully dry and cure for optimal results. During this period, it is recommended to avoid placing the filmed object in excessively humid or high-temperature environments, as this may affect the durability of the adhesive or lead to peeling.
Q5: Is there a warranty after the film installation is complete?
All projects undertaken by the 747 Team that include both labor and materials come with a 3-month free warranty after completion and acceptance.
Warranty Coverage: After-sales service primarily addresses construction quality (e.g., curling or peeling due to non-human factors).
This warranty does not cover damage caused by human factors (scratches, impacts) or deterioration resulting from leaks in the substrate itself.
Q6: Can I see the actual film samples in person? Do I have to choose the color beforehand?
You can refer to the online catalog during the initial consultation to help our sales team better understand your needs. We will also bring physical film samples during the measurement so you can compare colors and confirm the texture on-site.
Our sales team will provide construction recommendations based on the on-site lighting and substrate conditions to ensure the final result meets your expectations.
Q7: After deciding to proceed, how soon will construction begin?
After confirming the objects and color samples for the work and completing a 30% deposit payment, we will arrange for material preparation and preliminary work, and discuss and finalize the construction date with you.
Q8: What should I pay attention to on the day of construction? Do I have to be on site?
On the day of construction, the client must ensure that the site has good access and conduct a site inspection upon completion of the work. After confirming that everything is satisfactory, the final payment should be made.
Other construction dust is strictly prohibited at the construction site. Please do not walk around randomly while technicians are working to ensure the highest quality.
Q9: Why are quotes required to include loss?
Film application is not like assembling a puzzle. To achieve a professional finished product with attention to detail (e.g., door panel wrapping, pattern matching, width limitations),
the film material must account for waste during cutting, and different application techniques must be used for various object shapes. These considerations lead to necessary material waste, which is reflected in the total area calculation.
Q10: If my item is damaged (e.g., has a hole or severe scratches), can I still apply the film?
Yes.
However, if the substrate is uneven, it will need to be patched and leveled until completely smooth. This may incur additional substrate treatment costs.
We recommend providing "close-up photos of the imperfections" during the initial consultation so that our sales team can provide a more accurate assessment.
▎Film Purchase (Film Only)
Q1: How do I order film on your official website? Is there a minimum order quantity?
Ordering process: Log in as a member > Select products > Add to cart > Complete checkout > Order placed > Arrange shipment.
Minimum order quantity: The minimum order quantity for each film is 1m (meter). If additional orders are required after the initial order is placed, they will be treated as new orders, and shipping fees will be calculated separately.
If you are a design or construction professional, please first message customer service to provide your company business card for archiving, in order to request a dedicated price list and obtain exclusive member discount prices.
Q2: Can I ask customer service to help estimate how much film I need to buy?
The raw material sales department does not provide construction material estimation services. Due to the varying widths of film materials (120-150cm) and the need to account for waste, customers are requested to accurately estimate their material requirements before placing an order.
If you are unable to estimate the quantities yourself, we recommend contacting our "Film Installation Department" for a quote on a complete service package including materials and labor.
Q3: How long after placing an order will I receive the product? Is self-pickup available?
Shipping Time: All products available for order on the official website are in stock. Payments completed before 12:00 PM (noon) from Monday to Friday will be shipped out on the same day at the earliest. Logistics delivery typically takes about 1-2 business days. (For detailed delivery regulations, please refer to Orders and Delivery.)
Delivery Restrictions: Products are uniformly shipped from the central warehouse. In-store pickup service is not available.
For urgent delivery orders due to project schedules, please contact customer service first to confirm whether delivery can be made by the specified time. Any urgent shipping fees incurred will be borne by the customer.
Q4: If the film material I received has a color difference, can I return or exchange it?
Color Difference: Due to variations in monitor displays, there may be a visual color difference between the photos on the page and the actual product. We recommend referring to color cards or physical samples. Color difference is not considered a product defect.
Return and Exchange Policy: All bulk materials are cut to the customer's requested length (in meters). Once sold, returns or exchanges are not accepted unless there is a defect. If you have strict color requirements, we recommend purchasing a physical catalog, requesting color samples, or visiting our company to verify colors in person.
